We have been coming here consistently for quite some time. We usually do a couples massage and always leave feeling refreshed. The hot stones and stretching are such a nice addition. For the price, you get a great massage with great service! Highly recommend!
If I could give zero stars, I would. My dad purchased a "Spa & Wellness" gift card to celebrate my mom finishing her cancer treatment. He wanted us to have a special mother-daughter day and chose this card because the Ocean Star Spa was listed as a participating location on the gift card website. We’ve been customers of this spa before, and their website still shows they accept these gift cards, including the same phone number and location. I called to book an appointment and left a voicemail because no one answered. I later received a text message from someone at the spa, so I assumed this was their preferred way of communicating and continued booking through text. It was a hassle to find an available date, but we eventually scheduled an appointment. I traveled from out of town specifically for this, excited for a relaxing day with my mom. When we arrived, the staff immediately asked for payment. I explained that I planned to pay with the gift card and showed it to them. That’s when they told me they no longer accept the gift card because they’re under new management. I showed them the website, which clearly states they accept this card, and pointed out that the phone number and location matched. Despite this, the staff refused to honor it and claimed it was my responsibility to check, even though the information online hadn’t been updated to reflect any changes. This was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. A day that was supposed to be about celebrating my mom turned into a stressful and unpleasant experience. They made no effort to accommodate us or take any responsibility for the outdated information. It’s the same location, same phone number, and yet they refused to acknowledge how misleading their listing is. We won’t be returning, and I hope they take steps to communicate better with customers in the future. Shame on them for ruining what should have been a special day. I don’t recommend them to anyone. Very unprofessional.
Everything in the store has been changed, including the price, but the service is better than before. Thanks to Ava's help, my body has relaxed a lot, although her English is poor, haha.
This place is amazing! My husband and I got a gift for our wedding and we enjoyed it so much we went back! The prices are wonderful and so is the staff there! Love it 😍
This place is about 30 minutes away from where I live and I was hoping it was worth the travel and it absolutely was! The massage I got was from the owner Amy and she was beyond knowledgeable in her craft. I told her what I wanted but she knew what I needed and gave me the massage I so desperately needed. It’s not often people care enough to tell you what you need over what you want. I’m walking away from this establishment feeling refreshed and most of all pain free!
